Emmerdale’s Liam becomes a dancing internet sensation in crossover with Coronation Street

Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) is set for stardom, as upcoming Emmerdale scenes will see him go viral.

The grieving dad has been throwing himself into working on his new allotment, and it’s clearly brought him a lot of comfort.

Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell) offers to help him out, and in this clip – taken from Monday’s (November 1) offering of the ITV soap – she suggests that he make a video to promote his sustainability project.

‘Leanna loved all that’, replies Liam. ‘Always posing and pouting. In fact, she taught me a routine during lockdown for hours.

‘It was terribly awkward and jerky, but I suppose that was the point!’

The revelation takes Amelia aback, as she struggles to get her head around the fact that the village’s GP knows a dance routine.

‘Dance is a very, very loose description,’ adds Liam.

Amelia, however, reckons this routine could be the key to spreading the word about what he’s doing at the allotment.

‘Can you remember it – the routine?’, she asks. Liam, almost concerned, tells her that he ‘possibly’ could, before quizzing her about what she’s up to.

‘I’ve got an idea’, responds the teen.

Liam will seemingly record a short video of both he and Amelia performing the routine, and the clip goes viral – and even makes an appearance in Coronation Street!

The above Corrie snippet – taken from the first of Monday’s two episodes – see Gary Windass and Maria Connor enthralled by the viral video, and Liam and Amelia can be seen dancing on Gary’s mobile device!

‘There’s a doctor in a village in Yorkshire, and he’s been growing veg for the community,’ says Gary, leaving Maria stunned.

‘He thinks it’s helped his mental health.’
