Kim Tate (Claire King) is a woman used to getting her own way in Emmerdale and she has hapless Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) exactly where she wants him next week.
Paddy knocked on the door of the devil for financial help to avoid Chas (Lucy Pargeter) having to lose the Woolpack and Kim had just the solution for his problems.
Of course, it wasn’t even slightly legal.
She talked a reluctant Paddy into doping racehorses so that her own horse could win big and sure enough, a wad of cash was soon in the vet’s hands.
All’s well that ends well.
As the video clip for next week shows, Paddy is far from out of the woods as Kim wants this to be a regular arrangement.
Paddy is totally against this but Kim is non chalant when he tries to escape the deal with a warning that he will just go to the police.
Kim simply tells him that she will deny everything and it’s clear that it won’t be long until she requests the next dose of Paddy dope.
Realising he is trapped, Paddy is in despair.
That’s what you get when you allow Kim Tate to get her claws into you; nothing is ever that simple where she is concerned Padster.
So how will he get out of this one?
