Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins came to a dramatic end on Sunday night, but it was Alexandra Burke, Wes Nelson, and James Cracknell who won the show.
Viewers were on the edge of their seats as instructor Mark Billingham said ‘We’re not looking for one person.
‘The common denominator is honesty, integrity, perseverance, or excellence.’
Last woman standing, Alexandra said appearing on the series helped her understand her self-worth.
‘It was the most life-changing experience to understand what your worth is and to understand that you have a purpose,’ she said. ‘You must use that purpose because you just don’t know how long you’ve got left.’
Wes later added: ‘One million percent it’s changed me.’
‘No one knows their boundaries and I think it just shows you that when you really, really, really, really think that you’ve got nothing left, you’ve always got something more in the tank, whether that be physically or mentally, there’s always something there.’
‘Until you’re dead you can still keep moving and it’s so true,’ he continued. ‘You think that you can’t go any further, but there’s always that extra bit of fuel.’
Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins follows celebs as they ditch the glitz and glamour of their normal lives in exchange for a gritty and tough training course.
In total, 12 famous faces were put through a series of gruelling tasks and interrogations that tested them both physically and mentally.
The group were watched over by Ant Middleton and his team of fellow ex-special forces soldiers, who relished pushing the celebs to their limit in everything from diving backwards out of a helicopter into open water to taking part in a terrifying hostage rescue situation.
Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins is available to stream on All4.
