Rainie Highway’s (Tanya Franks) ongoing stresses with Linda Carter’s (Kellie Bright) baby lie and Bernie Taylor’s (Clair Norris) surrogacy journey in EastEnders will see concern grow she’s started taking drugs again.
And has newcomer Sandy (Martha Cope) – aka Dotty’s (Milly Zero) mum – provided Rainie with the drugs?
As Dotty gets her club event underway, things take a turn when a drunk woman appears and Rocky’s (Brian Conley) face drops at the sight of her.
Outside, Sonia (Natalie Cassidy) finds the woman, who asks after Kirsty and the penny drops – it’s Dotty’s mum.
Dotty invites Sandy for a chat, but Rocky insists she’ll blow their cover.
Meanwhile, Keegan (Zack Morris) and Bernie ask Rainie to do a drugs test but she panics, telling them she took a sleeping tablet the night before.
Rainie bumps into Sandy in a rough state as Bernie watches from a far, convinced a drug deal is occurring.
After expressing her concerns to Karen (Lorraine Stanley), Bernie makes Rainie do a drugs test, but will it come back clean?
If Rainie has been using, has she destroyed her hopes of becoming a mother?
