Michael Buble has celebrated his son Noah on his eighth birthday, saying he has ‘never met anyone as brave’.
The singer, 45, took two years off from performing when Noah was diagnosed with cancer at the age of three, in 2016.
The star’s son was given the all-clear the following year, prompting Michael to write a song, Forever Now, about the little one.
Taking to Instagram on Friday, Michael wrote: ‘Today my hero turns 8! I’ve never met anyone as brave…
‘I’ve never known anyone as kind or as good-hearted…
‘And I’ll never truly be able to express how proud I am, or how deep and profound Mommy’s and my love is for you.
‘You’ve blessed our lives in every way. We hope God blesses you on your special day.
‘Happy Birthday, Noah B.’
Michael said last year that Noah was his ‘inspiration’ as he made his debut on his famous father’s Instagram during a live session.
The Canadian singer revealed: ‘You know what he wants to be when he grows up? Not an actor, not a singer. He wants to swim with sharks.
‘So this is our superhero. We have two other superheroes, but this boy… you know what? He is the biggest inspiration for us.’
Michael, who married Argentinian actress Luisana Lopilato in 2011, is also father to son Elias, five, and daughter Vida, three.
