Toby Aromolaran is quickly becoming a fan-favourite in the Love Island villa, with his latest ‘adorable’ antics making viewers back him to the finish line even more.
This week on the ITV show, Toby made a massive U-turn when he decided to pursue Chloe Burrows yet again, having previously called time on their romance to get to know Abigail Rawlings.
However, while he was in Casa Amor, he moved on once again, bringing Mary Bedford back to the villa… before then switching back to Chloe. We’re just about keeping up.
The morning after recoupling, Toby decided to create a romantic gesture for Chloe, making her breakfast and serving it as a picnic on the grass by the pool.
However, before he asked Chloe to join him for their meal, the 22-year-old had to psyche himself up, staring into the mirror in the bedroom as he rehearsed what he was going to say to Chloe.
‘You hungry? You want breakfast?’ Toby said to himself, before letting out a big sigh of nerves.
Considering Toby’s attempts to figure out exactly what’s going on in his head throughout his stay in the Love Island villa, viewers found the image of him practising his lines in the mirror as baffling as it was sweet.
‘Toby going from villain to hero?? He’s actually being a little sweetie. Practising in the mirror??? SO CUTE,’ one person tweeted.
‘Toby is slowly becoming a favourite of mine, he’s so childish literally practising in the mirror how to invite a girl for a picnic date,’ another said.
Someone else dubbed Toby a ‘national treasure’ as they watched the scene unfold in hysterics.
‘Not Toby giving himself a pep talk in the mirror, this man just keeps on giving,’ another stated.
Toby and Chloe seem to be going from strength to strength since their reunion, immediately resuming their cuddly, affectionate ways while sharing a bed together.
However, for other couples in the villa, things aren’t quite as smooth-sailing.
While Kaz Kamwi is still coupled up with Matthew MacNabb, she’s inching towards starting things back up again with Tyler Cruickshank, leaving both Matt and Clarisse Juliette annoyed and upset.
Meanwhile, Abigail Rawlings is currently coupled up with Dale Mehmet, who feels a stronger connection with Casa Amor newcomer Mary Bedford.
With tomorrow night’s episode promising a dramatic dumping, with four out of six of the at-risk islanders being eliminated from the competition, who will stay and who will go?
Love Island returns tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and is available to watch on ITV Hub.
