It was recently confirmed April Windsor’s (Amelia Flanagan) friend Cathy Hope (Gabrielle Dowling) is the person behind the trolling accounts in Emmerdale.
For weeks April has faced horrific bullying from various social media apps but is yet to figure out who is responsible for making her life a misery.
At April’s birthday party, after she responded to a troll message, viewers saw Cathy replying, confirming she’s the person behind creating the awful accounts.
April’s phone pings with messages and she realises her number has been posted online.
Growing convinced she knows her bully, April’s unaware of Cathy’s increasing worry.
Feeling nauseous from the bullying, April returns home early from school without notice.
Marlon (Mark Charnock) attempts to find out what’s troubling April but they’re interrupted by Cathy’s arrival.
Guilt-ridden Cathy watches April as she receives further threatening messages from bullies, which leads her to collapsing in tears.
Cathy’s horrified by the level of emotional damage she’s responsible for and as her guilt mounts, she heads to the café and comes clean to Heath that she’s responsible for the bullying.
How will Heath react?
