Sean Slater (Rob Kazinsky) made a return to EastEnders back in 2019 after ten years away from Walford.
At the time, Jean (Gillian Wright) was battling cancer, and was over the moon to see her son after barely having any contact with him.
However, as Sean’s week in Walford progressed, it transpired he was seriously struggling with his mental health.
Discovering Roxy had died, Sean sat by her grave and told her he’d be with her soon.
In powerful scenes, Jean was able to save his son from ending his life.
In the aftermath, Sean left Walford to get help for his mental health.
Jean is shocked to find a large amount of money in her bank account, which is later revealed to have come from Ruby (Louisa Lytton).
In the Minute Mart, Jean pulls out an envelope with £50 notes.
Shirley (Linda Henry) tells Jean it’s blood money, so she angrily hands the money back to Ruby.
However, when Ruby opens up to Jean about her hospital appointment, she eventually agrees to take enough money to get her train ticket to see Sean.
It’s good news for Jean as she plans her visit to see her son.
After everything they went through last time, how will Jean get on seeing how Sean has been keeping?
