Iqra Ahmed (Priya Davdra) will find she has to defend her sexuality in front of Bobby Beale’s (Clay Milner Russell) friend in upcoming EastEnders episodes.
Around the time when Iqra and Habiba (Rukku Nahar) first arrived, we discovered the reason behind Iqra ending her engagement to her fiancé was because she was dating a woman.
Since then, her relationship with Ash (Gurlaine Kaur Garcha) has come to an end, but things between Iqra and Mila (Ruhtxjiaïh Bèllènéa) are developing well.
Coming up, Bobby and Iqra are handing out flyers for a new prayer room.
Waseem, Bobby’s friend, comes to help but has a problem with the prayer room potentially being next to a bar that is LGBTQ+ exclusive.
A determined but angry Iqra defends her faith and sexuality to Waseem, right in front of Mila and the social worker she’s trying to impress in an attempt to become Kioni’s legal guardian.
Has Iqra ruined Mila’s chances at having custody of her sister?
Or will the social worker understand Iqra’s passion and determination to put people in their place?
