Dawid Malan and Lewis Gregory hailed Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan after Trent Rockets beat Manchester Originals to keep their hopes of winning The Hundred alive.
Rockets captain Gregory said: ‘He has done well all over the world and to do what he has done with what has been going on at home has been very special and the boys are right behind him.
‘You don’t get many opportunities to play in front of a crowd like that and I am proud of the boys tonight.’
England batter Malan added: ‘We were behind in the first innings but Rashid Khan bowled a terrific spell and that gave us a total we could chase.’
