The August bank holiday Monday is upon us, which for many, means a day off work spent sleeping in, brunching, or even getting on top of those DIY and gardening projects.
People across the country have their fingers crossed that the weather will be good enough to get outdoors and light the barbecue, following an uncharacteristically cold and wet August.
For some, that means a trip to B&Q, Wickes or Argos for essential homewares and gardening kit.
But are any of these three handy stores actually open on over the bank holiday?

‘Customers are also able to place orders online for Click + Collect, as well as home delivery.’
You can check the opening times of your local B&Q by checking their store locator.
