Jade Jones crashes out

The 28-year-old was bidding to become the first British woman to win three Olympic golds at three consecutive Games.
A 16-12 loss however ended those hopes.
Should Alizadeh reach the final, Jones could still win bronze. But her wait for a third gold will now go on until Paris 2024.
Andy Murray out of singles event
A thigh injury has forced Andy Murray to withdraw from the men’s singles event.
The two-time defending champion was due to face Felix Auger-Aliassime on day two of singles action.
But the Scot has withdrawn from the event on medical advice.
Murray will continue in doubles action alongside Joe Salisbury, however. The two got their campaign off to a winning start on Saturday.

The Briton, who boasted a sizeable height and reach advantage, controlled the contest with a sharp performance to secure a split decision win over his opponent.
Whittaker will take on Egypt’s Abdelrahman Salah Orabi on Wednesday.
