There is a new guy going into the Love Island villa, as the teaser for tomorrow’s episode introduced us all to Teddy Soares.
At the very end of the latest instalment, which saw Kaz Kamwi and Rachel Finni dumped by Toby Aromolaran and Brad McClelland respectively, Iain Stirling gave us all some hope with another bombshell.
The financial consultant, 26, is set to ruffle some feathers as he vowed he is ‘ready’ to find love, in a house full of single women.
Spilling the beans on what we can expect from him, he insisted: ‘I think I’m ready for love now.
‘Law of attraction is probably what I believe in, so being in the villa is part of that thought process.
‘I’m not getting any younger. I’ve always been the type of guy to be in long relationships. Never broken three years though.
‘If I do find someone in the villa, I’m going to take it seriously.’
Well, that sounds a lot better than some of the ‘tests’ we’ve been witness to so far this series…
Teddy also explained that he has no problems ‘stepping on toes’ to get closer to a girl if he likes her, and promised to stir a few pots along the way.
‘I’m cuddly, caring and all my friends, when they have an issue, they call me and confide in me,’ he continued.
‘I’m always that person to lean on. I think I’m going to add that element with the boys.
‘From a girls’ standpoint, they’re going to have to get used to me stirring a few pots and causing a bit of a ruckus.
‘I do think hopefully, me walking into the villa the girls will have something to look at.’
Well it isn’t going well for most of them so far, so we’re sure they’ll enjoy having someone else to get to know.
Elsewhere in the episode, two couples came to an abrupt end as Brad dumped Rachel to move things along with Lucinda, while Toby decided to kiss Chloe Burrows just moments after calling things off with Kaz.
This follows on from yesterday’s instalment, which saw Aaron Francis call things off with Sharon Gaffka as their budding romance of one week came apart when it was ‘tested’.
So Teddy’s arrival couldn’t come at a better time.
Love Island continues daily, at 9pm, on ITV2.
