Love Island fans have pleaded with producers to fast forward the introduction of Casa Amor after being left ‘bored’ by the current series of the show.

Despite the long-awaited return of the reality dating programme, which was cancelled last year due to Covid-19, viewers are yet to warm to the current season, with many sharing their disinterest online.

Even though the latest episode left us with yet another explosive cliffhanger that means either Lucinda Strafford or Brad McClelland will leave the show, fans are still itching to see the return of Casa Amor – and the sooner the better.

Viewers had Casa Amor trending as they were left eager to see more explosive moments from the series.

For the uninitiated, Casa Amor is a villa that is separate from the main Love Island villa.

In Spanish, Casa Amor means Love House, and there’s every chance it was named thus because some islanders go there and find love, while others have their love tested.

A few weeks into the competition, the men are sent to the rival villa, where they’re exposed to a new set of islanders who they can choose to leave their partner for.

This has been at the centre of some of the show’s most intense scenes as the ultimate test for the Love Island couples.

‘I think we need Casa Amor now,’ one fan wrote online.

‘Let’s just fast forward to Casa Amor please,’ said another.

Some fans even shared their theories as to what they think could happen in the second villa.

A variety of viewers have theorised that Jake Cornish will ‘break’ Liberty Poole’s heart when he goes to Casa Amor and others think both Millie Court and Liam Reardon will find someone else.

Only time will tell…

Love Island returns Wednesday at 9pm on ITV2.
