Monday’s episode of Love Island proved to be a saucy one, as the contestants got up to some X-rated activities in the bedroom.

During the dramatic recoupling that saw Rachel Finni dumped from the villa, Toby Aromolaran chose to couple up with Chloe Burrows after the pair had previously shared a steamy kiss (or two).

Things started heating up between the pair when they snogged on the terrace behind Kaz’s back in a previous episode.

In the most recent instalment of the dating competition, Iain Sterling gave viewers some insight into what happened in the villa overnight.

‘I think some hanky panky went on,’ he said during a voice over.

While he didn’t reveal who the culprits were, Chloe said she and Toby ‘snogged away’.

In a debrief with the girls the next day Chloe revealed what the two of them got up to while in bed together.

‘I was really naughty so no one else needed to be. It got as naughty as it could get while keeping clothes on,’ she explained.

Chloe wasn’t the only one who got up to a little bit of mischief, as Liam Reardon said he and Millie Fuller were also intimate.

‘We had a few kisses, I couldn’t keep my hands off of her,’ Liam told the boys while in the bedroom.

Millie told the girls: ‘I said strictly hands above the waist. My hands didn’t wander.’

Lucinda Stratford, who is coupled up with Brad McClleland, said ‘it was very PG’ on her side of the room. Teddy Soares, who is with Faye Winter, said sleeping was ‘painful’ as he struggled to figure out where to ‘put my hands’.

While last night was the first time some of the couples kissed, this isn’t the first time for Chloe and Toby, who first kissed during a challenge when Toby was coupled up with Kaz.

Kaz was left fuming, branding her fellow islander ‘sneaky’ and then the duo kissed once again, seemingly immediately after Toby had told Kaz he wanted to pursue other connections.

Speaking in the Beach Hut ahead of his chat with Kaz, Toby said: ‘A part of me is definitely nervous to speak to Kaz because the way I progressed with Kaz was very slow. But with Chloe it went zero to 100 miles per hour.’

Speaking with Kaz at the fire pit, Toby explained: ‘I was speaking to her and it’s just good. It’s led to somewhere. I feel like it’s more than friends. We have kissed outside the challenge.’

We can only assume things are going to continue heating up.

Love Island continues tomorrow night on ITV2 at 9pm.
