Love Island fans were thrown for a loop as Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran appeared to grow closer in a teaser for tomorrow night’s episode.
The footballer has been coupled up with Kaz Kamwi since the very beginning and their relationship is blossoming, with the pair sharing their first proper kiss this week.
Not only are they getting the feels, but they are current favourites to win the show.
However, that could all be about to change as a clip at the end of tonight’s instalment suggested he made an attraction for Chloe known.
In the very short teaser, the pair were seen looking close while on the day beds.
‘I’m quite pleased with myself that you’re interested,’ she told Toby as the camera panned to an oblivious Kaz.
While it’s not entirely clear what exactly sparked their conversation, or what the athlete is ‘interested in’, fans were well and truly baffled by the development.
Rushing to Twitter to discuss the scenes, a viewer wrote: ‘This show is confusing because why are Chloe and Toby suddenly a potential thing #LoveIsland.’
As a Twitter user begged: ‘Toby and Chloe what? Stop dont do that to Kaz I swear #LoveIsland [sic].’
Another demanded: ‘Waaaaaaiiiiiiitttttt was that Toby cracking on to Chloe?! I need to know #loveIsland.’
One replied: ‘I honestly think Chloe is chatting Toby up. The men are choosing during the next coupling.. The new girls are definitlely choosing Hugo so Chloe needs to be secured somewhere…
‘Lets see if Toby would pass the test or jump ship.. #loveisland [sic].’
As a follower added: ‘Since when did Toby have an interest in Chloe, someone enlighten me pls #LoveIsland.’
Honestly, we can’t keep up with all this partner swapping – and we’ve not even got to Casa Amor yet…
Love Island continues daily, at 9pm, on ITV2.
