Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) admits to mum Laura (Kel Allen) that she suffers from flashbacks in relation to the night of Seb Franklin’s (Harry Visinoni) murder.
The young woman, who has been remanded in custody for her role in the death of the Coronation Street favourite, receives a surprise visit from Laura in upcoming scenes.
Laura quizzes her daughter about the night in question, interested to know if she can remember anything, reiterating that she can trust her.
And with that Kelly admits that she’s suffering from flashbacks.
Seb was killed back in May, when he and girlfriend Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) were set upon by Corey Brent (Maximus Evans) and his mates.
Corey instigated the attack, and carried out the assault. Kelly, however, was also present during the horrific scenes.
Corey had instructed Kelly to keep shtum about the events of that night, but Kelly later had a change of heart, revealing her intention to cooperate with the police.
Corey’s dad Stefan (Paul Opacic) advised his son to get their first.
The killer therefore headed straight to the police station, said he would cooperate fully, and in doing so, pointed the finger at Kelly, even claiming that it was she who instigated the attack!
Kelly was later charged with Seb’s murder.
The DNA evidence backed up Corey’s claims, and if that wasn’t damning enough, an audio recording from Abi’s (Sally Carman) phone revealed that Kelly laughed when the attack took place.
