The Love Island 2021 cast have been pictured in the Majorcan villa for the first time ahead of Monday night’s launch.

Just days after the line-up for the new series was announced, Shannon Singh, Faye Winter, Kaz Kamwi, Sharon Gaffka and Liberty Poole have been seen standing by the pool in their bikinis waiting for their long, hot summer to begin.

However, the sixth girl, Chloe Burrows, was absent from the snaps, suggesting that she could be a late arrival.

Photos showed presenter Laura Whitmore introducing each boy one by one to the girls, as they no doubt gear up for the first coupling up session.

The girls seemed excited for the show to get underway and welcomed the boys by waving at them and flashing their pearly whites.

The teaser pics come as Laura gave a tour of the villa, which has been revamped for the upcoming instalment with a sexy new Hideaway and cheeky revamped headboards in the bedroom.

Elsewhere, the bathroom is fully stocked and ready for action with lotions and hair products galore and the dressing room is the cleanest it will look before the girls come and take it over.

Hugo Hammond is set to make Love Island history on Monday as the show’s first-ever disabled contestant.

The 24-year-old, who was born with clubfoot, has insisted this doesn’t define him as a person.

‘It doesn’t really affect me too much,’ he said. ‘I’m very lucky. [If] I’m on my feet all day doing whatever I’ll want to sit down in the evening but I’m pretty sure that’s the same for everyone, obviously I can’t compare it.’

This year’s Love Island is expected to last the full eight weeks, however a finish date has yet to be confirmed.

Love Island kicks off on Monday at 9pm on ITV2.
