Kim Kardashian has taken the most stylish journey down memory lane to mark eldest daughter North’s eighth birthday.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, 40, blessed us all with a string of behind-the-scenes snaps from their joint photoshoot inspired by Jackie O.
Side note: How is North already eight-years-old?
Taking to Instagram, the mum-of-four penned: ‘My 1st born baby North is 8 years old today! North, one day you will see these messages all printed out for you in the books I am making for you and so hope you feel the love because you bring so much love and joy into all of our lives!
‘You are the silliest, most stylish, most creative person who knows exactly what they want in life! I’ve never met anyone like you!
‘I picked these BTS to post of North and I from this Steven Klein Jackie O shoot bc it just reminded me of the bond North and I share and he always captures the emotion so well!’
The rest of the famous family also celebrated North’s big day, with grandmother – or ‘Lovey’ – Kris Jenner posting her own gallery of photos.
‘Happy birthday to our beautiful Northie!!! You are truly such a ray of sunshine and you light up every room with your amazing smile and huge heart,’ she captioned the upload.
‘You are so funny, talented, smart, and so creative!! You are an amazing daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend. I love watching you grow and I am so proud of you each and every day.
‘I love you so so much!!!! Lovey xoxo.’
As Khloe Kardashian shared her favourite memories of her niece on her Instagram story, adding: ‘Happy birthday Northie. I can’t believe you are 8.
‘Happy birthday young queen.’
While Kim is busy marking North’s birthday, she has faced a tough time in her private life – amid her split from husband Kanye West.
The reality star filed for divorce from the Gold Digger rapper – who she shares children North, Saint, Chicago and Palm with – at the beginning of the year, six years after they tied the knot.
In the emotional finale of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, she touched on the poignant reasons behind their split, speaking publicly about their break-up for the first time.
‘I just feel like I’ve worked so hard in life, to achieve everything that I wanted to, and I’ve lived up to my expectations and achieved 10 times more than I even thought was humanly possible,’ she told her mum.
‘But I don’t have a life to share that with. I do, obviously, my kids and everything, but am I just gonna sit here and think, “Okay, my kids fulfil me, and I’m good?”’
‘I never thought I was lonely. I always thought that’s totally fine. I could just have my kids. My husband moves from state to state. And I just am on this ride with him. And I was okay with that.
‘Then after turning 40 this year, I realised, “No, I don’t want a husband that lives in a completely different state to me.” I thought, “Oh my God, that’s when we’re getting along the best.” But that is sad to me and that’s not what I want.’
She added: ‘I want someone that we have the same shows in common. I want someone that wants to work out with me. Every single day Khloe and Tristan and I would work out at 6am and I was third-wheeling it for a good eight months in quarantine. I was so envious of that.
‘I was like, “Wow, it’s the little things I don’t have.” I have all the big things. Yeah, I have the extravagant [things], everything you could possibly imagine. I’m grateful for those experiences.
‘But I think I’m ready for the smaller experiences that I think will mean a lot. I just want you to be happy and joyful.’
