Lidl has a number of offers in the middle aisle every week – called the Middle of Lidl.

From BBQs to fitness gear, and scuba-diving equipment to weighted blankets – there are always some great deals to be found.

But does the legendary middle aisle have in store of Lidl shoppers this week?

What’s in the Middle of Lidl this week?

Shoppers were treated to offers on bathroom essentials and kitchen must-haves last week.

This week, patrons of Lidl can expect some great travel, clothing, and DIY deals.

From Sunday, May 2

Garden decor

Lidl’s big 10-week Garden Event continues, and this time shoppers will be able to give their garden a refresh with outdoor decor.

Among other offers, you can scoop up a Florabest Outdoor Rug for £6.99, or a Melinera Citronella Garden Torch for £3.99.

You can also get your hands on a Playtive Nest Swing for £29.99 and a Playtive Wooden Play House for £149.99 – ideal for the little ones.

Indoor and outdoor plants

During this time, Lidl customers are being treated to offers on gardening tools such as the Parkside Petrol Lawnmower for £99.99, and the Black & Decker 18V Hedge Trimmer for just £69.99.

Sticking to the botanical theme, Lidl also has some deals on flowers to help you get your garden ready for summer.

For example, you can bag some beautifully scented French Lavender for only £4.99.

Travel essentials

Planning the post-lockdown trip of a lifetime? Then you’ll want to check out the middle aisle this week.

From electric cool boxes to games consoles, there’s something for everyone.

Make packing-light a thing of the past with the Menabo Roof Bars for only £29.99.

The 1.2m long, non-slip anodised aluminum bars can carry up to 90kg, and are ideal for mounting bikes, suitcases, and skis.

Adult’s clothing

As the weather starts to improve, now is the perfect time to update your summer wardrobe.

Lidl is offering some great deals on the latest summer looks, from linen-blend dresses to airy shorts.

The supermarket is also offering a selection of leather sandals, sizes 4-7, for £7.99 each.

From Thursday, May 6

DIY tools

You know the drill: with another bank holiday coming up at the end of the month, many Brits will be planning to use the long weekend to catch up on odd jobs around the house.

Cue the middle aisle.

From May 6, Lidl will be offering deals on DIY essentials – from hot glue guns to angle grinders.

And for those bigger jobs, Lidl patrons can grab a Parkside sliding compound mitre saw for just £84.99.

This big boy is perfect for precisely cutting wood and plastic, with a laser for improved cutting accuracy.

The supermarket chain is also running a summer event where shoppers can get their hands on suncream and BBQ charcoals.

What time does Lidl open?

Lidl stores typically open between 8am and 10pm Monday to Saturday.

Shops are then usually open from 10am or 11am until 4pm or 5pm on Sundays.

The opening hours vary though, so it’s best to double-check these in advance before making the trip.

Can you shop from Lidl online?

Unfortunately, you cannot shop at Lidl online as the store does not offer home delivery.

You’ll need to go into one of the over 800 Lidl stores to get your shopping for now.

Tips for saving money on your weekly food shop

When does the middle aisle of Lidl change?

Middle aisle stock is changed every Thursday and Sunday.

Lidl sometimes hold events, in which themed stock will be available for the duration – usually lasting a week or two.

The themes can range from Greek week to gardening essentials.
