With outdoor meeting now allowed (within group limits), it’s officially barbecue time.
Once the weather starts playing ball we’ll likely be entertaining friends and family again. And we need some equipment to make it a great summer.
Poundland today announced they’re launching a kettle BBQ for just £12 – less than half the price of others on the market.
The red freestanding grill is the first of its kind for Poundland, who have previously sold disposable or mini options but never a kettle barbecue.
A similar option at Argos costs £25, while Wilko’s offering is £30. From B&Q, a kettle barbecue will cost you £48.
You’ll still be able to get £1 disposable barbies from Poundland, but if you want something more sustainable on a budget a kettle is a great buy.
All we know is that it launches May, so delivery times and stock levels may affect whether you can get one in store.
Many spotlight products at Poundland sell out quickly, so if you have your heart set on one you should probably get your skates on.
For another budget barbecue, this folding tabletop design is just £15.25 at Amazon, with free next-day delivery for Prime members.
It’s admittedly no-frills, but’ll arrive on time for a bank holiday grill session – at least while the sun is out.
