West Brom have lost their place in the Premier League and now face losing a string of players with clubs circling for their standout performers this season.

The Baggies will return to the Championship, along with Sheffield United and Fulham, with three players looking certain to leave over the summer.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles was always going to depart after his loan spell came to an end and he is set to return to parent club Arsenal, although he is unlikely to stay there.

The Daily Mail report that a string of Premier League clubs are interested in the England international, including Southampton, Leeds, Manchester United and Everton.

The 23-year-old is keen to play in midfield on a regular basis, which could see him lean towards Leeds and Southampton, with Man Utd and Everton seeing him as a utility player able to perform at full-back and in midfield.

Unsurprisingly Matheus Pereira is being linked with a move away from the Hawthorns after an impressive season in the top flight, although more surprising is that more suitors are not being mentioned.

Aston Villa have been named as an interested party in the 25-year-old although more admirers may well emerge ahead of the transfer window.

The Brazilian has scored 10 Premier League goals this season and been West Brom’s chief creative force over the campaign.

Goalkeeper Sam Johnstone has regularly been touted for a move during the season after looking good for the Baggies, despite their poor results over the campaign.

The 28-year-old has earned a call-up to the England squad thanks to his displays and has earned the attention of Spurs, West Ham and his former club Manchester United.

The future of Sam Allardyce as West Brom manager is also up in the air, with another season left on his contract but talks set to be held between the boss and the owners.

Former Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder has been linked with replacing Allardyce if he does move on.
