You know that old saying? Hell hath no fury like Phil Mitchell? Well, the EastEnders legend is on the warpath next week, after learning that Callum Highway (Tony Clay) has double-crossed him!

The soap legend had no idea when he invited Callum into his home that the young copper was working undercover for DI Thompson (Phillip Wright).

Callum, was of course, only doing so to spare Ben from jail time, but after getting Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) involved, the policeman was able to get himself out of the scary situation.

However, with his wedding to Ben imminent, Callum thought long and hard, and decided it was time to come clean to his boyfriend. Therefore, he revealed that he’d been working undercover to take down Phil.

Ben was distraught, and demanded and explanation, and after giving him what he was after, Callum could do little but promise to wait for him at the altar – hoping that he hadn’t blown things.

Ben struggles as the day of the wedding arrives, and he shows little signs of getting ready – and even goes missing!

Phil manages to track the young man down at The Arches, and quizzes him about what it is that his beau has done.

Ben, of course, protects Callum’s secret. Stuart (Ricky Champ), however, unintentionally reveals all – leaving Phil seething!

Phil made a name for himself getting revenge on all those who’ve wronged him, and it’s safe to assume that Callum will be no different.

The question is: just how far will he go?

Will he kill the love of his son’s life in order to get his revenge?

One to watch: Tuesday May 11 at 7:30pm on BBC One.
