From historic cobbled streets to art galleries, these are top attractions in the UK that Brits are eagerly planning to visit when coronavirus restrictions allow.
Key dates on the Government’s roadmap out of lockdown are getting closer and closer, which, among other things, means that domestic holidays are going to be back on the cards soon.
After a long winter lockdown, people up and down the country are excitedly planning their next getaway.
According to a survey of 2,000 people conducted by Uber, Kew’s Royal Botanic Gardens claimed the top spot out.
York’s picturesque street The Shambles came in second, and the third attraction people can’t wait to visit is The Royal Mile in Edinburgh.
Overall, people seem particularly excited to visit London, with nearly half of the 40 destinations on the list being in The Big Smoke.

Uber’s research found that, on average, people are planning on making up for lost time and taking two staycations this year.
This is pretty unsurprising given 44% of the people they questioned said they felt ‘trapped’ during lockdown.
In England, you’ll be able to stay overnight in self-contained accommodation from April 12, in Scotland from April 26, and Northern Ireland from April 15, while it’s been allowed in Wales from March 27.
