Although McDonald’s restaurants have been closed for dine-in customers since the third lockdown began, drive-throughs and delivery have still been operating to make sure you can still enjoy a morning McMuffin.

Fast food fanatics were thrilled after it was recently announced that McDonald’s Monopoly will return this summer, after being cancelled last year in the height of the pandemic.

With the Easter bank holiday weekend nearly upon us, many will be wondering whether they will still be able to grab a cheeky Chicken Legend or a moreish McFlurry.

Here’s when McDonald’s will be open over Easter

Is McDonald’s open over Easter?

Most McDonald’s stores will be open as usual for delivery and collection over Good Friday, Easter Sunday, and Easter Monday.

This gives you plenty of time to get your hands on some of the returning, limited-edition treats.

Very on-brand for Easter, the Cadbury’s Crème Egg McFlurry was one of the limited-edition items added to the menu this week.

Other items include Big Tasty with Bacon and the Chicken BBQ Smokehouse.

They’ll be on the menu from Wednesday, March 24 in all UK restaurants, available for just six weeks until Wednesday, May 5.

Restaurants open for takeaway still cannot welcome diners to sit inside, but you can order from the likes of JustEat and Uber Eats, or go inside a restaurant to order and take it with you.

What are McDonald’s opening times over the Easter weekend?

Though most locations are expected to be open their usual hours, closing times may vary so it’s always best to check your local branch first – especially as not all locations have opened up again since lockdown started.

Use the online branch finder to check your nearest restaurants.
