Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadami) is desperate to marry Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) in EastEnders, and thus he sets in motion a surprise wedding!
No, you’re crying.
The much-loved market trader was left in shock last month, when Whitney got down on one knee and popped the question!
Kush, throwing caution to the wind, ultimately said yes!
Next week, he plans a surprise wedding for Whitney, but his bubble is burst when Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) reminds him he’ll be going away for a long time, after he agreed to take on Phil Mitchell’s (Steve McFadden) extra charges.
With a newfound lease of life, Kush marches his way round to the Mitchells to explain that he’s no longer prepared to do what he agreed!
Oh, it’s all getting a bit tense.
Whitney, meanwhile, receives a huge shock when Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) spills the beans about Kush and Phil’s deal, not knowing that Kush had kept her in the dark about such a thing.
Whitney is livid, and she makes it her mission to confront her beau.
Kush, not knowing that Whitney knows about the deal, blurts out that he’s organised a surprise wedding!
Whitney, however, is still furious about the deal — or more specifically, the fact that he didn’t tell her.
Kush is heartbroken, and ultimately absconds, but he later returns in time for his appearance in court, much to Whitney’s relief.
Will the relatively new couple make it down the aisle? Or will Kush’s refusal to follow through on the deal with the Mitchells ultimately ruin his happiness?
