As Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadami) and Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) made a bid for their final exit in EastEnders, another familiar face returns as Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) is back – and she has a bombshell to drop.
Elsewhere, Nancy Carter (Maddy Hill) is hiding a secret from parents Mick and Linda (Danny Dyer and Kellie Bright) – but will they find out the truth?
Monday April 19
Whitney and Kush contemplate their future and set a plan in motion. Can they escape Walford or will their enemies intervene?
Mick hopes that some board games will help Frankie and Nancy to bond with each other.
Sonia orders Greg to leave. Once he has gone, Tiffany and Dotty come clean with Sonia about how they’ve been overcharging customers at the club. Dotty tries to explain to Sonia that Tiffany has moved in, but they get interrupted.
Later, Sonia drops a bombshell of her own…
Tuesday April 20
Isaac is intrigued when his brother Paul is mentioned in conversation. Soon afterwards, the nurse arrives to talk about Patrick’s medical trial. Isaac isn’t happy when Patrick officially agrees to take part.
Later, Isaac asks Kim for some information about Paul. She’s hesitant about saying too much, but does explain that he was murdered.
Nancy is frustrated after trying to track down a delivery, which leads to her refusing to look after Ollie for Linda. When the package finally arrives and Nancy appears to be in a major rush to get it, Mick wonders what’s going on.
Molly tries to make amends with Bernie by letting Ziggy spend some time with Bailey. Molly also later asks Bernie out for a coffee.
Jack returns from his first day back at work.
Thursday April 22
Patrick questions Isaac’s troubled mood, forcing Kim to reveal that she told him about Paul. When Sheree finds out, she checks that Isaac is okay and still taking his medication. Isaac admits that he’d like to be more truthful with everyone, but Sheree has other ideas.
Later, Patrick confides in Isaac about how he feels he failed Paul and wishes his son would have been honest with him about the trouble he was in. This strikes a chord with Isaac, who decides to tell Patrick the truth.
Janet’s growing following on social media starts to have consequences. Will feels left out and also ends up in a fight after Amy posts nasty things about Janet online. Honey stops Billy from getting into an argument with Jack about it.
Stuart’s daughter Zara stands him up on her birthday, leaving him disappointed after buying lots of presents for her. Later, Rainie and Stuart talk about trying to find a surrogate again.
Karen receives a call from someone who wants the money they’re owed.
Friday April 23
Patrick wants to know why he wasn’t told the truth about Isaac sooner, but Sheree blames Patrick’s stroke and his battle with COVID. When Patrick mentions that there are similarities between Isaac and Paul, this leaves Isaac intrigued. He confides in Lola about how Paul was clearly misunderstood – and he wonders if his own schizophrenia diagnosis is a misunderstanding. Isaac investigates further by quizzing Ash.
Karen and Bernie find a threatening message in their living room from someone who wants them to pay up. Mitch realises that loan sharks are responsible.Karen considers having a baby for Stuart and Rainie for money, but Bernie dismisses the idea.
Mick asks Nancy to take Ollie to the park, but Nancy feels awful when Ollie falls over.
Honey gently confronts Amy about the trolling, but how will Amy’s half-hearted apology go down?
