Co-op has altered its hours over the Easter weekend – but don’t worry, you’ll still get a chance to buy household essentials.

Many would usually spend the holiday weekend with loved ones, however the current stage of lockdown means we can only meet with one other household outdoors.

Whatever you’ve got planned for the bank holiday, make sure you’re aware of the adjusted supermarket opening hours – and where to get the best Easter eggs.

Here’s what you need to know about Co-op’s opening times so you can arrange your day accordingly.

Is Co-op open over Easter?

All Co-op stores will remain open on Good Friday, Saturday 2 April, and Easter Monday, between the standard hours to 7am and 8pm.

On Easter Sunday, its larger stores – those over 3,000 sq foot – will be closed.

However the convenience stores will remain open to customers.

There may be local variations in timetable between branches, so it’s recommended customers check with their local store.
