It’s not a great week for either Susan (Jackie Woodburne), Nicolette (Charlotte Chimes) or Roxy (Zima Anderson), but it’s Brent (Texas Watterson) who might be getting lucky in Neighbours.
Things might also be looking up for Shane (Nick Coghlan) and Dipi (Sharon Johal) when they start to feel a rare spark of rekindled romance. Could this mean their marriage back on track?
But things are not looking good for Susan when Finn Kelly (Rob Mills) comes back into her life – it would be bad enough if he was still alive but the fact he’s dead makes it all a bit worse.
Roxy’s luck is in her boots as, when she tries to do a good deed, she’s knocked unconscious for her troubles. Not the reaction she was after.
Fay (Zoe Bertrum) gets some bad news which she decides to keep to herself, and that’s never a good sign.
But on the flip side, Harlow (Jemma Donovan) realises she has feelings for Brent and snogs his face off. Bless!
Here’s what’s ahead in Neighbours.
Susan’s mental health takes a hit when Finn returns
Susan makes a fateful mistake in agreeing to help Olivia rewrite her book. She seeks advice from David about how to process all the Finn stuff as she finds it confronting going over it all again. He makes a suggestion that backfires, saying she should try to visualise conversations with him to help her let go. It works a bit too well, Susan starts to imagine Finn sat across the table with her. At first it seems cathartic, but things quickly take a turn, especially when she starts seeing images of him drowning in a pool. She tries to allay Toadie’s concerns by telling him she can handle it and that Karl must not know, but truth is it’s got way out of hand.
Who is Roxy’s attacker?
Roxy has good intentions to try and repair her reputation, but they end up with her unconscious and with a dent taken out of her skull. In a bid to right some of her recent wrongs, and to offset the hurt when Paul tells her he was never really considering her bid for the store, Roxy sets about tackling the graffiti that’s appeared at the university, but while she’s doing so a mystery attacker gives her a whack and sends her tumbling to the ground. Dipi and Shane find her out cold, who would do such a thing?
Nic protests her innocence
Nic is in a bit of an awkward place when it’s discovered that the reason for the meeting she organised with Toadie is to have herself put in Fay’s will. Toadie is disgusted, but Nic is adamant she had nothing to do with it – and no idea of the real reason for the meeting. She also tells Fay she doesn’t think it’s right she’s in the will, and seeing how the family reacts Nic decides to come clean to Fay.
Harlow and Brent get it on
Bad news for Hendrix, Harlow is well and truly moving on. Things are starting to go right for Brent with Aaron and David, so he turns to Harlow to thank her for her unwavering belief in him. It helped him turn his life around. Feeling drawn to him, she kisses him. Neither of them were expecting that, and now Harlow is feeling conflicted between her heart and her head – her grandfather Paul certainly wouldn’t appreciate her getting it on with the bad boy. Ultimately though, Harlow has to go with her feelings, to hell with what her family thinks.
Fay’s condition worsens
David suspects there is more wrong with Fay than she’s letting on – she brushes off her fatigue and cough, but he senses there’s more. He encourages her to get a check-up, but when she does, Clive has some terrible news. Fay decides to keep it to herself and lead the family to believe all is ok.
Sparks between Dipi and Shane
There’s a reason Gnomeo & Juliet is such a beautiful love story (what, it is!) because there’s something romantic about gnomes, as Dipi and Shane discover. While they attempt to clean Sheila’s garden gnomes, Dipi accidentally smashes one. Together she and Shane work to fix the garden ornament and the moment becomes symbolic of them rebuilding their marriage. N’aw.
Scenes air from Monday 29th March on Channel 5.
