Things are about to come to a head in EastEnders for Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) as she realises that she has no way out – is she heading to prison? And how can ill Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) cope with recent events?
Elsewhere, Gray Atkins (Toby Alexander-Smith) ups his manipulation and it’s clear that Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) is in extreme danger.
Monday March 29
Whitney decides to be Gray’s plus-one when he attends a work gala. Gray lends Whitney one of Chantelle’s old dresses. He also gives her a bracelet as a gift, without letting on that it used to belong to Chantelle.
During the event, Laura – who worked on Whitney’s trial – talks to Gray about how he seems to have moved on with his life. Gray lets Laura believe that Whitney is his partner, explaining that they fell in love.
As Kush contemplates his likely prison sentence, Whitney proposes to him.
Kheerat is not happy after Vinny stole one of the gold bars for himself, but Suki warns him to go easy on Vinny. The Panesars come up with a new plan and Kheerat asks Ben if he’d like to be involved. Kheerat insists that Vinny has to be involved too. Even though he isn’t entirely happy with this, Ben agrees to the deal.
Mick receives a ticket when the car breaks down while he’s teaching Frankie to drive. Sharon isn’t happy with her new living situation. Phil is surprised when Sharon announces that she wants to be part of his money laundering scheme.
Tuesday March 30
Lily is growing concerned for Stacey’s future and questions why more isn’t being done to help her. Will gives Lily an idea by mentioning how Honey’s injury recently helped to bring his family together.
Lily is found at the bottom of the stairs, knocked out. A panicking Stacey realises they’ll need to call for an ambulance.
Sharon is hoping to buy a new business and is intrigued when she hears Peter talking about how lucrative the fitness industry is. She asks Peter about personal training. With the gym for sale, Sharon makes a call.
Two people from Frankie’s old school visit the Queen Vic and make snide remarks about her connection to Katy. Mick kicks them out and insists that he won’t let his staff be treated that way, but Frankie is upset that he didn’t refer to her as his daughter.
Thursday April 1
Stacey and Jean panic over Lily’s accident, especially with Stacey’s hearing looming. Martin also tells Ruby that he’s now worried about the kids.
Stacey and Martin have a tense final showdown. After saying an emotional goodbye to her mum, Stacey heads off to hear her fate.
Bobby tries to embrace his new persona as he prepares for his second date. He buys some condoms from the Minute Mart, but Suki destroys his confidence. Later, as he meets up with Dana, Bobby continues to fit into his new persona of ‘Rob’.
Mick is informed that other survivors have come forward, but he feels a panic attack coming on and questions whether the other men can give evidence instead. Mick later insists to Linda that he won’t be able to speak in court.
Linda tries to reassure an upset Frankie that things will get better.
Friday April 2
Sharon is still keen to buy the gym and takes a look around the place with the estate agent. Ben discovers what’s going on and decides to ruin her plans.
Ben makes an offer of his own on the gym. Just as Sharon is trying to persuade Peter to work with her, she receives the news of the rival offer. Where will Kheerat’s loyalties lie when Sharon tells him that her dreams for the future have been ruined?
Jean is busy looking after the kids and Lily starts to scheme. Lily pretends to plan an afternoon tea party and sends Jean off to get supplies, but packs a suitcase once she has gone.
Lexi and Callum struggle while working on the table plan for the wedding. Callum asks Phil whether he intends to bring a plus-one, leading to an awkward situation when Kat overhears the conversation.
