Casualty spoilers: Faith Cadogan’s affair with Dylan Keogh puts her daughter in danger

A day of mixed emotions for Faith (Picture: BBC)

Casualty’s long-running will they/won’t they storyline involving Faith (Kirsty Mitchell) and Dylan (William Beck) reached a turning point last week when Faith, upset at her husband Lev (Uriel Emil)’s refusal to properly communicate since they got back together, tried to seduce him at the ambulance station in a desperate attempt to prove to herself that he still wanted her. When she was rejected yet again, she ended up at Dylan’s boat and they kissed.

As tonight’s episode opens, we see that Dylan and Faith have spent the night together – and it looks like both of them are blissfully happy. But real life has a way of intruding in these situations, and Faith soon realises that there are aspects of Dylan’s life that he hadn’t shared with her. Will her attitude change when she discovers Dylan’s troubled relationship with alcohol?

Meanwhile, Faith’s daughter Natalia (Lollie McKenzie) is having a day out at a funfair with Connie’s daughter Grace (Emily Carey) and David’s son Ollie (Harry Collett), until she gets a phone call that completely ruins her day. After that, she starts behaving recklessly and puts herself in deadly danger. Will Ollie and Grace be able to stop her before it’s too late?

It’s Tina (Adele James)’s first day working in the ED and she’s a little bit worried that she’s going to encounter trouble from Connie Beauchamp (Amanda Mealing), jealous that Tina is now with Jacob (Charles Venn). Of course she’s right to be worried – nobody does ‘woman scorned’ quite as magnificently as Mrs Beauchamp.

Tina proves that she’s more than ready to stand up for herself, but when her instincts and experience tell her that someone needs urgent treatment, can she convince Connie to take her seriously?

As an emergency call comes in from the funfair, Faith’s trust in Dylan is tested to the limit. And if something has happened to Natalia, will Faith be able to forgive herself?
