We all love an unexpected animal friendship, don’t we?
This one is better than most, simply because it’s a trio rather than your usual odd pairing. More animals equals more cuteness, obviously.
The squad is made up of a baby emu, goat, and goose, that have formed a bond at the same animal centre.
Their friendship started when the emu, Taz, was rejected by his parents and had to be hand-reared.
He soon made friends with his fellow farm residents, including Alfred the kid, who was born around the same time.
Then, a goose chick named Wiggle got involved, and the three animals are loving their new gang.
Caroline Le Bourgeois, the creative director of Caenhill Countryside Centre in Devizes, Wiltshire, said: ‘Taz was hatched in an incubator.
‘This little one here is Alfred and unfortunately his mum didn’t have enough milk.
‘We started feeding him and Alfred thinks we are his parents so these two are best friends now because they spend all their time with us.
‘As you can see we don’t force them to be here, they’re here because they like each others company.’
The pals have a very close bond, spending their days playing together and frolicking in the fields.
They’re quite cosy, too – Alfred will often give Taz a gentle peck on the head, and Taz and Wiggle love to weave in and out of the goat’s legs.
Chris Franklin, who runs Caenhill Countryside Centre with his wife Ellie, said: ‘It’s so lovely and wholesome to see them playing together.
‘They seem to get on really well and have a special bond.’
