Nancy Osborne (Jessica Fox) finds herself seeking solace in ex Darren (Ashley Taylor Dawson) in Hollyoaks, as she struggles with Charlie Dean’s (Charlie Behan) situation, but will they reunite once more?
The day of the plea hearing arrives, and Charlie makes it quite clear that he wants to plead guilty.
Nancy, however, worries that everyone will soon discover that Charlie is the unnamed minor that killed Jordan Price (Connor Calland), and — unable to keep shtum — she ultimately opens up to Diane Hutchinson (Alex Fletcher).
Diane brings up Finn O’Connor (Keith Rice), commenting how hard he tried to convince everyone that he was innocent — and something about what she’s said resonates with Nancy, as she realises Charlie is hiding something.
Desperate to find out what, she plans to speak to Ella Richardson (Erin Palmer) about what really happened on the night of Jordan’s murder.
Nancy knows that Ella is hiding something, but Mandy Morgan (Sarah Jayne Dunn) refuses to let her speak to her daughter.
However, she spies an opportunity to do just that after Tony (Nick Pickard) is tasked with looking after Ella while Mandy and Darren head off for an appointment at the bank.
Yes, with Tony run off his feet at the restaurant, Nancy offers to take Ella off his hands, and evidently gets her one-on-one chat with the young girl.
Will she get the answers she’s looking for?
The following day, Nancy storms into The Hutch wanting answers, so it seems as if something has, in fact, piqued her interest.
Darren begins to worry about Nancy, and Mandy displays some insecurities about such a thing.
Meanwhile, Nancy has a go at Sid Sumner (Billy Price), blaming him for everything — but Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) and Courtney Donovan (Amy Conachan) retaliate.
Yes, Courtney brands Nancy a negligent parent — something which leaves Nancy heartbroken, as she starts to blame herself for everything that’s transpired.
However, Darren offers support, and tells her that she’s not to blame.
What’s more, he chooses to protect Nancy over securing his future with Mandy, and later in the week, Nancy’s emotions run away with her when Darren takes her home.
Will Nancy sleep with Darren? Will Darren cheat on Mandy with Nancy?
One to watch: Thursday February 11 at 7pm on E4.
