Sharon Beale (Letitia Dean) and Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) bond once more in EastEnders, but will they ultimately get back together?
Viewers will know that Sharon orchestrated the attack on Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt), and that Phil carried out the assault.
The two were working together to take down Ian, as they held him responsible for Dennis Rickman’s (Bleu Landau) death.
However, following recent events, Sharon came clean to Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), who struggled to get her head around everything.
Linda then told Mick (Danny Dyer), who tells Shirley (Linda Henry) in the coming episodes.
The Carter clan struggle to comprehend how Sharon could’ve allowed Tina (Luisa bradhaw-White) to get into trouble with the police for the attack, given that she’s best mates with Linda.
After Mick opens up about how much he misses The Vic, Linda takes Sharon aside and makes her a proposition — telling her it’s the least she can do after what she’s done to her family.
While the ins and outs of the proposition remain unknown, Sharon is taken aback, that’s for sure.
The following day, she celebrates Albie’s first birthday on Dennis’ bench — all the while mourning Dennis’ death. Phil arrives, and pays his respects, but when Sharon reveals Linda’s words, he’s left furious.
Phil later tells Sharon she doesn’t need to worry anymore, and then hands her a gift for Albie’s birthday — something which leaves Sharon touched.
Phil then asks Sharon if she would like to have dinner next week, and Sharon says yes!
Is romance blossoming once more?
