Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) makes a statement to the police about Katy Lewis (Simone Lahbib) in EastEnders.
Viewers will know that Mick recently discovered that he’d been abused by Katy while in care at 12 years of age.
The former Queen Vic landlord struggled with the discovery, and ultimately pushed his closest family members away.
However, after a heated showdown with Katy over the festive period — one in which she admitted to the abuse, and showed her true colours — Mick bravely opened up to Linda (Kellie Bright) about what he’s been going through.
Shirley (Linda Henry) later discovered the truth for herself, and ultimately lashed out, as she punched Katy and attacked her repeatedly.
Mick has refrained from going to the police, but it seems as if he changes his mind.
Yes, in the coming episodes, he goes to the station to go over his statement about Katy.
Will Katy finally get her comeuppance?
Will she go to prison for what she’s done?
One to watch: Thursday February 11 at 7:35pm on BBC One.
