The Masked Singer UK has just teased fans with a first-look of the 12 celebrities taking part in the upcoming series – and the costumes have definitely got weirder and wackier.
The ITV talent show, which is due to air early next year, will see 12 mystery celebs singing live on stage – but they will each be disguised by a unique outfit.
The second series will see – Alien, Sausage, Dragon, Seahorse, Viking, Blob, Harlequin, Swan, Bush Baby, Badger, Robin and Grandfather Clock – battling it out to be crowned the winner.
But who are the famous faces behind the masks?
Joel Dommett will be back to host the unique guessing game that gripped the nation during the first series.
Davina McCall, Rita Ora and Jonathan Ross will also all resume their roles on the judging panel.
While BAFTA award-winning comedian Mo Gilligan will be stepping to replace Ken Jeong, who was unable to take part in the show due to restrictions on international travel.
Many TV shows were delayed or unable to go ahead this year due to the coronavirus pandemic – and at one point it was unclear whether The Masked Singer could go ahead.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk about the uncertainty, presenter Joel explained they were scared that the show was going to get ‘shut down’.
‘It was mad, obviously, there were a lot of rules and regulations so the relief when we got it done was amazing,’ he told us.
‘There were a lot of rule changes at the time and everyone was scared it was going to get shut down halfway through.
‘The scale of the production of that show is so big, so I am so pleased that it’s done and ITV managed to get it done.’
The Masked Singer returns to our screens next year on ITV.
