Good Morning Britain bosses are reportedly worried about losing Ranvir Singh after her successful stint on Strictly Come Dancing.

Ranvir, who is political editor for the ITV chat show, is currently competing on the BBC series with dancing pro Giovanni Pernice.

It is understood that the 43-year-old’s contract with GMB will come to an end in the New Year, which is when negotiations will take place.

According to the Daily Mail, sources on GMB fear that her heightened popularity will result in her being inundated other offers.

‘Ranvir is bigger than standing on Downing Street in the rain in the early hours of the morning now,’ said an insider.

‘She has shown her true self on Strictly and is now quite the star.’

On Saturday night’s instalment, Ranvir and Giovanni took to the dance floor where they set pulses racing with their Viennese Waltz.

After their performance, an emotional Motsi Mabuse told them: ‘I have to say I was moved from your words from your VT, I think every mum has a connection with you.’

‘I feel like you have finally come into you,’ the judge continued. ‘Last week I asked for a little surprise and I did get a little surprise, it was such a magic moment, well done.’

Craig Revel Horwood added: ‘You told the story so naturally, it was totally real and totally believable. The frame was fantastic throughout.’

Shirley Ballas even branded the pair’s performance as ‘phenomenal’.

‘It was like poetry in motion,’ she commented. ‘

After receiving high scores and praise from the judges, viewers also couldn’t help but comment on the pair’s ‘chemistry’ when they dance together.
