Boris Johnson has said that pubs that team up with local takeaways will be allowed to open in tier two.

Pubs in tier two lockdown areas are only allowed to serve alcohol with ‘substantial meals’, with ‘wet pubs’ being forced to shut their doors.

Meanwhile, the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine has been delivered to the UK ready for the first doses to be given out next week, according to Sky News.

The vaccine, which was approved for use in the UK this week, is manufactured in Belgium and was transported via the Channel Tunnel.

It has to be stored at -70C before it is used.
