Deck the halls and sing songs of joy, as the festive season arrives, and for the residents of Hollyoaks, it’s going to be one to remember.
Christmas is always a special time for the mainstays of the eponymous village, and this year is no different.
There are love dilemmas aplenty, as Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) finds herself caught between Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) and Brody Hudson (Adam Woodward).
Murder is also on the menu, as Edward Hutchinson (Joe McGann) tries to kill Tony (Nick Pickard)!
However, if you think Christmas sounds good, then you’ll be pleased to hear that the New Year is even bigger, as all those questions we were left with this time last year are finally answered.
So, sit back, relax and enjoy, as we delve into everything that’s coming up, as Hollyoaks finishes out 2020 with a bang!
Edward’s plan to murder Tony
Edward puts a plan together to ensure that Tony never sees his family again, but when Tony insists that he’s not giving up without a fight, Edward warns him not to back him into a corner.
Later, Edward reveals to Tony that Diane is dead, which leaves the young man devastated.
Edward attacked Diane with a brief case, but whether or not she dies remains to be seen.
The evil surgeon makes one final play for victory as the net closes in on him, and therefore plans to poison his son.
Will he successfully murder Tony?
Passion for Sienna and Warren — and Liberty reveals everything
Brody suggests to Sienna that they should co-parent Faith with Liberty. Sienna naturally struggles to get her head around such a thing, and refuses to accept that she has to share Faith.
What’s more, she ultimately falls back into Warren’s bed!
However, Liberty spots Sienna and Warren kissing, and wastes little time in telling Brody everything!
Silas’ next move
Silas Blissett (Jeff Rawle) is planning on luring his great-grandson Bobby back to the village in an effort to kidnap him!
Meanwhile, Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) is excited, as she plans to bring Bobby back home for New Year’s Eve, but little does she know of what Silas is planning!
Luke takes drastic action to save Ollie from drugs
Ollie Morgan (Gabriel Clark) asks Cindy Cunningham (Stephanie Warinng) for money to buy Christmas presents, but she’s sceptical — as she wonders if the money is really for presents or for drugs. She refuses, but Ollie asks Brody for a hand out.
The young man sneaks out to buy more drugs on Christmas Day, and therefore Luke (Gary Lucy) takes drastic action — which leaves both Cindy and Ollie stunned.
The following week, Ollie’s actions threaten to tear Cindy and Luke apart.
Felix takes revenge on Toby?
Felix Westwood (Richard Blackwood) seemingly starts to put two and two together in regards to Toby Faroe (Bobby Gordon), and he’s determined to do something about the young man.
Martine (Kelle Bryan) is down about Mitchell (Imran Adams) not being with them for Christmas. Celeste does her best to increase the family’s Christmas spirit with festive drinks at the Bazaar, but Felix still plans to make sure Toby pays for his crimes.
Jordan’s affair with Leela and Peri exposed?
Jordan Price (Connor Calland) is determined to ring in the New Year with Peri Lomax (Ruby O’Donnell) by his side, and therefore he ignores Victor Brothers’ (Benjamin O’Mahony) phone calls.
However, he’s left panicked when Leela (Kirsty Leigh Porter) arrives back from looking after her aunt!
Juliet and Peri’s New Year passion
As New Years Eve arrives, Victor gathers his foot soldiers, including Juliet Nightingale (Niamh Blackshaw), Charlie Behan (Charlie Dean) and Ella Richardson (Erin Palmer), and gives them their final orders for the big night ahead.
Before long, things escalate, and — in a scene which was previewed in last month’s Winter trailer — Victor threatens to kill one of Juliet’s loved ones.
Juliet panics, and does everything in her power to protect those closest to her.
Before long, she arrives at the Lomaxes, and confesses her love for Peri.
Charlie and Ella’s drug dealing exposed — but are they in danger?
Nancy Osborne (Jessica Fox) tells Charlie that she’s proud of how he’s handled himself this year and stayed out of trouble, but John Paul McQueen (James Sutton) later sees the young man dealing drugs to Ollie.
Nancy is horrified when John Paul reveals what he witnessed, but something sparks Mandy’s (Sarah Jayne Dunn) suspicion, and she desperately tries to call Ella.
The police puts out a search for Charlie and raid Nancy’s house, and Nancy is devastated when they locate drugs inside Charlie’s game controller. Everyone is frantically looking for Charlie and Ella, but will Victor get to them first?
New Year wedding for Tom and Yazz
Tom Cunningham (Ellis Hollins) prepares to marry Yazz Maalik (Haiesha Mistry), but will the ceremony go ahead with impending danger facing the village?
The bodybag death revealed
Tragedy strikes at The Hutch, as it becomes a crime scene, and John Paul is broken when he spots PC George Kiss’ (Callum Kerr) police badge lying next to the body bag.
