Love Island USA winner Justine Ndiba and Caleb Corprew have joined the special group of lovebirds who managed to make a lasting connection on the dating series.

As the latest couple to emerge from the hit reality show, the pair have already been getting some advice about how to manage the newfound interest in their love lives from a bunch of UK contestants such as Mike Boateng and Priscilla Anyabu.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk, queen of the villa Justine explained: ‘Quite a few of the UK contestants have reached out to us. I’ve spoken to Mike and Priscilla a lot.

‘Yewande as well. All my favorites reached and it was so amazing to see how much support we have out there.’

She continued: ‘Priscilla and I have been talking the most and she’s given me some really great advice in regards to how Caleb and I can take on all the pressures of social media.

‘How to deal with having this huge audience and dealing with all that comes with it. She’s been so amazing.’

Due to the ongoing pandemic, the historic winners won’t be able to visit their UK pals for a while, but Justine and Caleb hope to make the trip soon.

Justine continued: ‘I would love to come and visit the UK, especially because I’m such a huge UK Love Island fan so there’s so many people I’m just dying to see.

I just want to hang out and finally get to meet in person. That would be so cool, I’m a huge fan of so many of them out there.’

Meanwhile, the pair are getting used to the fact they now have millions of fans routing for their relationship.

Justine, 27, explained: ‘The love from the fans is almost the best part of all of this. Their support is so overwhelming. I feel like I have 300,000 new friends because we interact with them so much as if we’ve known them for so long. It’s a beautiful thing.’

‘The most surprising thing for me was definitely seeing all the love once I got out because I was always so scared of what the public was actually thinking. I was terrified they might hate me, so to come out and see all this like love and support was great.’

She added: ‘Actually, there’s been very little negative from the public that I’ve seen so far. That’s been the most shocking part for me.’

Caleb, 24, agreed as he explained: ‘It’s been lovely to come out and be so well embraced by the public. As a couple, we just stayed in our own lane, avoided competition, and kept things pretty drama-free.

‘It’s cool to see that it was refreshing that people outside like watching us for entertainment but they also enjoyed like what they got out of watching our relationship as well soo it’s cool.’

In the meantime, the happy couple are busy trying to maintain a relationship amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

‘It is a weird transition after being in the villa, so this is definitely a new reality. We were in a bubble and that became our reality but then you leave and everything is totally different,’ Caleb explained.

‘So we’re still in that adjusting period but things are starting to kind of calm down a little bit.’

Love Island USA is available to stream on ITV Hub.
