I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! viewers were left confused after Jordan North and Ruthie Henshall picked scotch eggs over chocolate mini eggs as a treat for camp.
Jordan and Ruthie took on the castle coin challenge Lucky Duck, and successfully herded ducks into pens.
Kiosk Cledwyn offered the pair either the sweet or savoury snack to take back to camp, and they opted for scotch eggs as they felt it would fill the celebs up more.
The rest of the camp correctly answered Kiosk Cledwyn’s stats question Jordan and Ruthie returned with their spoils, hoping the others would be happy.
Although everyone ate the scotch eggs in the end (they didn’t really have a choice) there were some grumbles from those who would have preferred the mini eggs – including Ruthie who said it was ‘small and dry’.
AJ complained: ‘I’ve never had a scotch egg before, sounds disgusting. I want a treat. Why didn’t we go for sugar?’
They weren’t the only ones baffled by the decision as viewers chimed in on Twitter.
Ant and Dec also poked fun at what happened, with Dec joking that they would have been given a huge bag of chocolate mini eggs each to devour.
The episode also saw Jessica Plummer and AJ Pritchard struggle with a task that took place in total darkness, bringing back six stars out of a possible 12 for camp.
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! continues tomorrow at 9.15pm on ITV.
