A gymnast in North Korea escaped to the South by vaulting himself over the border barricades without triggering sensors. When he was eventually caught, the authorities were so stunned by his method that they asked him to demonstrate it, according to the BBC's Seoul correspondent. The border zone is 2.5 miles wide, 160 miles long and is mined along its entire length.
Conspiracy theorists say Wyoming doesn’t exist
A new conspiracy theory has emerged: that the US state of Wyoming does not exist. “Maybe they lied about Wyoming existing because that’s actually where heaven is,” one theorist posited. However, a man who has lived in Wyoming off and on for three decades, dug a bit deeper, saying: “To me, personally, philosophically, it exists in the same way everything exists or doesn’t exist.” Wyoming became a state on July 10, 1890.
Half-naked man arrested for humping trees
A man has been arrested in the US after screaming, “humping trees” and nibbling their branches. Police in Connecticut say that the half-naked suspect spat at them and tried to kick them as they took him into their patrol car. A detective told reporters: “Officers recognised he was in a state consistent with possible hallucinogens or a psychotic episode.”
