The televangelist Pat Robertson claims God has told him Donald Trump will win next month’s election. The multi-millionaire and former US presidential candidate also forecast that there will be at least two attempts on Trump’s life and a war against Israel that will be “put down by God.” Then an asteroid will end the world, he says.

Miley Cyrus says she was (probably) chased by UFOs

Miley Cyrus says she was once “chased down by some sort of UFO”. The pop singer said that the encounter “fucked me up” and that she now can’t “look at the sky the same”. Recalling the incident in San Bernardino, she said “I’m pretty sure about what I saw”. However, she admits: “I’d also bought weed wax from a guy in a van in front of a taco shop, so it could have been the weed wax.”

Pregnant woman runs mile in under six minutes

A woman in California has run a mile in under six minutes while nine months pregnant. Makenna Myler, 28, said her husband, Mike, bet her $100 (£76) that she could not run a mile in under eight minutes, and she decided to take on the challenge only one week before her due date. “I think pregnancy is a beautiful thing and it’s not an injury or a sickness, that you’re still really capable,” she said.
