Jacqueline Jossa says she hasn’t kept in touch with her former EastEnders co-star Adam Woodyatt.
The actress was a guest on the Halloween themed episode of Celebrity Juice, and was quizzed by host Keith Lemon about her time on the soap, which she left in 2018.
Asked if she would ever go back to play Lauren Branning, Jac said she would ‘but it’s not the right time. I think the character needs to be missed.’
Keith said: ‘Are you still in touch with Adam Woodyatt?’
Jacqueline replied: ‘I wouldn’t say I’m in touch with him, but he’s not the guy you just…’
When asked if the Ian Beale actor is ‘a nice fellow’, she added: ‘He’s nice if he likes you, and he likes me.’
She was also asked about her time on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! last year, where she was crowned queen of the jungle.
‘It was the worst and the best experience of my life,’ the mum-of-two said.
The former soap star previously dropped a big hint that she might return to Albert Square, after Lauren’s exit when her sister Abi died after falling off the Queen Vic roof.
Lauren’s ex Peter Beale (Dayle Hudson) is back on the scene and with her family members Jack (Scott Maslen) and MAax (Jake Wood) still around (although Jake is bowing out), there are plenty of connections that could draw her back.
Asked about the show in an Instagram Q&A, Jacqueline said: ‘Maybe one day. I loved my time on the show. I absolutely love EastEnders, love the people, the production, and I absolutely love Lauren Branning with all my heart.’
Since her success in the jungle Jacqueline has taken on the fashion world and teamed up with In The Style.
