Bacon fans can now have a face-mask that smells of sizzling pork. The company behind the product said the Black Label Breathable Bacon mask uses the “the latest in bacon-smell technology” to give the wearer the experience of smelling a sizzling rasher as they use the coronavirus protection garment. It promises it will be a “heavenly aroma”.

Raccoons break into a bank 

Two young raccoons have broken into a bank in California. The Peninsula Humane Society says the rascals were found running around inside the Redwood City bank that was closed to the public at the time. “It’s not every day an animal organisation gets called to deal with a bank break in, but since the bank robbers were masked bandits of the wildlife kind, we were indeed the appropriate responders,” said a spokesman.

Food store’s products made entirely of plastics 

An artist has created a grocery store in which every product is made entirely of plastic. The store, in New York’s Times Square, is stocked with items from fruit to deli meats that are made from discarded, single-use plastics. The Plastic Bag Store is described as a “visually rich, tactile, and humorous experience that hopefully encourages a different way of thinking about the foreverness of plastic”.
