Belle Dingle’s (Eden Taylor- Draper) future hangs in the balance in Emmerdale after Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln) set her up, but will Cain and Moria Dingle (Jeff Hordley and Natalie J Robb) be able to save her?
Belle has suffered immensely at the hands of Jamie, who cleverly twisted the narrative to paint the young woman as the criminal instead of himself.
With Belle having revealed that he was responsible for the hit-and-run, Jamie soon turned the tables and claimed that it was she who knocked Moira down.
Of course, Moira knows this to be untrue, but Jamie has weaved a sinister web of lies, and thus Belle has become the prime suspect.
With a new witness having come forward, the Dingles are concerned about what this could mean for Belle.
Meanwhile, Cain and Moria come face-to-face with Jamie in the village, but Moira manages to convince Cain to refrain from getting into a fight with the young man, commenting that Jamie no doubt left a shred of evidence, which they’ll eventually find.
Determined to help Belle, the pair decide to break into Home Farm in search of such evidence, but the question is: will they succeed?
Or will Jamie work out what they’re up to and have them thrown in jail also?
