Drake may be known for keeping his personal life private, but he couldn’t resist sharing a rare snap of his little boy to celebrate his third birthday.

The rapper, 33, is dad to son Adonis, who he shares with former model turned artist Sophie Brussaux.

The pair had a brief romance back in 2017 and Drake has slowly been sharing more of his son with fans on Instagram, after choosing to keep his child’s identity private for more than two years.

Marking the moment his boy turned three, Drake took to the social media platform to give fans a first look at how they had been celebrating.

In the snap, Drake couldn’t have looked prouder as he flashed a smile while Adonis sat in front of him, surrounded by silver and black balloons – including a huge number three and a rocket-shaped balloon with Adonis’ name on it.

Drake captioned the post: ‘Young stunna.’

He also took to his Instagram story with a couple of snaps of his boy, including one of little Adonis wearing a face mask and another of him looking pretty chuffed with his birthday set up.

The God’s Plan hit-maker hadn’t confirmed he was a dad until several months after Adonis was born.

He only began sharing photos of Adonis in March, earlier this year, when he shared his hopes of reuniting with his family amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Sharing a lengthy caption alongside a series of pictures of his baby, Drake told fans: ‘I love and miss my beautiful family and friends.

‘ I can’t wait for the joyful day when we are all able to reunite. Until then please keep your lights on.’

Fans have since been treated to more pictures of Adonis, including his first day of school last month.

Last year, Drake revealed that he had been ‘in limbo’ about sharing news of his son, after taking a DNA test to prove paternity and the results coming back inconclusive.

‘To be honest with you, I did a DNA test for my son and it came back to us and it said the DNA test got ruined in transit.

‘They couldn’t be 100 percent sure that that was my son or not,’ he said in an interview with Rap Radar.

‘So, I was in a really weird pending situation where I didn’t want to go tell the world that that was my son and it wasn’t.’
