A pair of Flat-Earthers in Italy have been quarantined after trying to find the end of the world. The man and woman set sail in search of Lampedusa, an island between Sicily and North Africa, to prove there is an end to the world. A doctor at the Ministry of Health said: “The funny thing is that they orient themselves with the compass, an instrument that works on the basis of terrestrial magnetism, a principle that they, as Flat-Earthers, should reject.”

Man drinks pints of his own urine daily 

A man in Germany drinks up to seven pints of his own urine every day. Jan Schunemann, 26, from Hamburg, also uses a syringe to ingest it through his ears and rubs it on his skin. He says the therapy method, known as Shivambu Kalpa, is “the perfect medicine since it is full of everything that the human body needs. It is also free for every human being”.

World's oldest couple crowned 

The world’s oldest couple, Julio Mora and Waldramina Quinteros, have been awarded the Guinness World Record in recognition of their longevity. Both from Ecuador, he is 110 and she is 104. Their marriage, which has lasted 79 years so far, has produced: four surviving children, 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
