Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) struggles to come to terms with recent events in Emmerdale, but will she open up about what’s transpired to Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley)?
Harriet has done her best to remain calm in the wake of DI Malone’s (Mark Womack) death, but it’s clear that she’s struggling — something which was never more apparent than when she broke down in the graveyard.
In the coming episodes, the vicar decides to take herself off to a religious retreat, as Dawn (Olivia Bromley) attempts to calm Will (Dean Andrews) — who continues to panic about the prospect of Malone coming back to get them.
Meanwhile, Cain discovers that the door of the church has been left open, but when he decides to investigate, he finds Harriet inside.
She’s sobbing her heart out, and Cain’s interest is piqued.
The question is: Will Harriet reveal to her ex that Malone is dead?
Will she come clean about having covered up his murder?
Cain and Harriet always had a special kind of relationship — especially when it came to keeping secrets for one another — so Harriet knows her secret would be safe in his hands.
But will she reveal all?
