Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) receives a visit from the police in EastEnders tonight (September 25), but will he finally be exposed as Chantelle’s (Jessica Plummer) killer?
Gray murdered Chantelle in harrowing scenes last Friday (September 18), and sinisterly covered his tracks — making his wife’s death resemble a tragic accident.
He was subsequently questioned by the police, before being released — much to the delight of Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley).
However, Kheerat Panesar (Jaz Deol) knows there’s more to this than meets the eye, and he’s come to believe that Gray is hiding something.
He revealed his theory to a horrified Mitch Baker (Roger Griffiths) during last night’s episode (September 22), and while it appears as if Mitch definitely has doubts about Gray’s innocence, Karen refused to believe her son-in-law did anything wrong.
